Hi. I recently posted a similar problem but have since replaced the gasket and O rings and have noticed an additional leak on one of the 2 tubes that lead between the reservoir and the pump. It appears that the tube has a small hairline crack when it turns to join the flange on the reservoir.
Can I fix it by propane torch and solder(remove first of course) or does it need a steel/ brass weld.. I have a wire feed welder and access to an oxy acetylene torch...Any recommendations would be appreciated as I do not do this sort of thing for a living.. I am a rookie at this...

I could not get a torch but was able to get a wire feed welder... It worked fine but had to grind down the rough spots...

To much pressure for solder. You will need to braze it with the acetylene. rig.

The welding was successful. No leaks from the hydraulic system!
