Hi guys, I am just coming back to try to give a little better info on the newest item brought home.. The pic below isn't that great because it only is from the front (others didn't turn out). However, here is all the data on it and tell me what you think and if you have not only seen one, but any information on this. I say it is made out of an C due to the part number/casting numbers and date codes below. The engine block is #251069R1 dated 12-7-T, the engine head is #251172R1 dated 12-7-T, the bell housing is #251687R3 dated 12-7-T, and the rear end is #351131R3 dated 12-8-T. The left axle is #351111R2 and right is #351112R2. The grill seems to be one off a power unit. The front axle has the same casting number as my W-4. There are no visible signs of ever having the seat on the platform at all. The fuel tank is like what I have seen on a mule from an "A," but sits higher than the hood. It was set up for 12 volt and has a (5) unit fuse box on the panel splitting the engine compartment and fuel tank...rather interesting needless to say. The PTO and hydraulic ports have plates over them to seal them off. The wheels boggle my mind in that they are cast centers with bolt on rims, with the fronts being 10" and rears 16". There are also 3 different layers/colors of paint on the machine as well, not that it makes any difference.

The handle sticking out on the right side of the picture is an extension attachment on the gear shift, capable of using all gears. The serial tag reads Mercer Engineering Works, NY, NY. I am gonna have a friend of mine haul it to the Summer Convention for me beings its only 30 mintues from me. Hopefully I can get some feedback from there as well. Thanks for all your input.

Yes, it looks like a C. The rear axles look like C axles. Strange looking grill. I wonder if the engine, grill, etc came from a power unit. The gas tanks on the Hebard mules are from power units and it looks like the gas tank on yours is the same. Great find, wish I'd been lucky enough to find that!

Looks like a grill off a 200 with the inserts removed
