The replacement for 12-38 is 13.6-38. OEM for an M was probably 11-38 which is now 12.4-38. 11.2-38 replaced 10-38, a little small for an M unless it was used to cultivate in narrow rows.

Getting old -- brain not working, You have an H, forget wht I wrote!--except that 12.4-38 will work, that's what we had on ours when I was young and my brain worked.

The rims you need are 12 - 38 and are avaliable at your IH dealer. About $150 each. the tires you need are 11.2 -38 and you should be able to get them at any tire dealer. About $200 each with tubes. So $700 should put new skins on the H

check around on tire prices. the 11.2 38 is used on the newer pivots and they have been advertised for $140. try Firth Coop.
