Hey guys I've searched the archives on front tire size for super H. I didn't find much as far as size preference. Which is best 5.50 or 600 x 16 on front of SH Thanks Bill

I have to agree with The Dukester. We had 5.50's on My Super H till We put the loader on... then replaced them with 6.00 6-plys. It sets "Up-hill" a little now with 12.4's on the back...

Use 5.50-16, 4 ply, triple rib type tires on your Super H unless you are going to put a loader on it, then you would want 6 or 8 ply tires and might want to go up to 6.00-16's. H type tractors look like he-- with bigger than standard size tires on them. A Super H is a really nice tractor in stock form, don't mess it up with non-standard stuff if you appreciate the fine design of this tractor. JMHO

Our 41 H from when we got it in 49 had 6:00 16 on it, if you are going to work it consider 6:50 if you have enough clearance, ride smother

My dad bought my Super H new in 1954. It came with 5.50-16 tires and has always had that size tires on the front. Roger

Years ago when these tractors were new, In my area at least the H, M, Supers, 300 and 400 were all shipped in new with 6.50 x 16. So consistant was this it surprises me to hear of any other size.

I put 5:50 16s on my restoration. That was the original.
