I have been trying to get the fuel shut off assembly off my farmall h So I could put sealant in the tank. I can not get it off and was wanting to make sure that it has regular threads ( turn to left to loosen)? Does anyone have any tricks to getting these off? Is it possible for me to seal my tank without removing it? Thanks Bob

Bob you turn it left to remove. It has standard threads. I wouldn't try sealing it with that in there. The inlet pipe would probably get plugged.

Thanks for the advice guys! I was finally able to get the shut off assembly off and I plugged the hole with a pipe plug. Thanks Bob

3/8 NPT, just in case you destroy it.
