Alex,
I put a control valve on my Farmall Super H for a two way cylinder on a log splitter. I put a "T" in the filler pipe for the return. It worked except that you need a vent for the hydraulic unit. I kept getting oil leaking out of the vent hole of the filler cap. To prevent this from happening, I took the hydraulic unit out of the tractor and drilled a hole in the top of the casting of the resorvoir and installed a vent there (drilled and tapped a 1/4 inch pipe thread hole). Then I could plug the hole in the filler cap and I no longer had any leak or worry of blowing out the seals on the hydraulic unit. If you don't mind a slight leak you can just put in the "T". Roger
