I have a Ford 2N and have toyed (no pun intended) with the idea of (and I hate to use this over-used word) diversity, of tractor colors here on the farm. I am interested in comments about the Farmall 340. It is a smaller tractor; could get a three-point conversion unit in order to use implement I have as I want the fast-hitch; don't need much horsepower; and, hey, I like the color. Thanks for the input. Al on the farm

I replaced my Ford 8N with an IH 340 Utility. The 340 is much more tractor at 35 pto hp and live hydraulics and independent pto. Real gutsy tractor. Mine has two remotes and power steering. I liked the 8n too. It was good for discing and plowing; very nimble.

They are nice tractors and much more power and features than your ford
