Hey guys I have a 53 super H and 53 super C that both have the single weighted front wheel. I also have the other type frontend with dual tires. My question would you change or leave them both singfle tires. I'm in the process of restoring both tractors.

Also does any one know where I could find a manifold for F-163 Continental engine for my Gardener-Denver air compressor. Need it to sand blast these tractors. Thanks for all the advise on this site. bigcer

Back on the farm several decades ago, we had both on B's and H's, depending on whether we were cultivating or not. Never noticed any difference at all in the ease of steering unless I was in very loose soil, and the single wheel sunk into the soil. In my opinion the tractor looks better with the dual front.

Thanks for your opinion. I thought they looked better with the dual but a local tractor buddy said the single was more rare so guess I will keep both around and try them both. I won't be using them too much in the field. Thanks a bunch

Just an opinion here. If you want to keep just for a restoration, keep the single wheel, they are more rare, but turn harder than the NF, dual tires. If you are using it, the narrow duals turn a lot easier. The single tire is expensive to replace.
