Here are the pictures of my farmall h. If anyone has any idea on the value of this tractor, please post. Any comments would be helpful.

It looks like three different tractors to me. Wide front, narrow front, odd rear wheels in one photo. Some type of bracket on the front in one photo but not the other..... what's up?

Nice tractor! Most people on this forum would agree the trick in this hobby is to get the project tractor as cheaply as possible. Hopefully, you can get it running well for a few more bucks. Don't ask how much one should pay for it, because if someone gives you an honest answer, they might get called an idiot.
good luck

The more you spend on the rebuild, the cheaper the project tractor should be for you to buy, to begin with.
good luck

Well, considering the tractor is a 1939/early 1940 model, it will be worth more than the average H. The last 39 I bought in that condition I gave $150 for it.. Heck it still has the seat pan for the original rivit style cushion (too bad the pan is pretty beat up). It looks like there has been some changes made (the framerails and mounts look like the later style due to their bolt spacing. Looks like a good project tractor...

Well, judging from the pictures it might run and it might not - you didn't say. I'll assume it doesn't run. Other than having the wrong rear wheels (or wrong weights or different weights), it looks to be pretty much complete, I bought 2 H's in the last year, I paid $400 for one with an IH 1110 mower on it and a wide front and $150 for one with narrow front. See pictures. Most people pay around $500 for non-running H's whether the engine is stuck or not. If it runs the price can go up to $750 to $1500 for one that needs paint.

Keep in mind that it has cost me over $2000 in parts and machine work to get my tractor into useable condition. I probably will never get my money back out of it, but I plan to use it for many years so I should get the investment back eventually.

The pictures are too dark for me to give you an idea. You might get better pictures on a cloudy day. Looks like the sun in the background was closing down the aperature on your camera lens.

Does it run? Does the generator work?
