Hmmmm. My F14 will take a few cranks if she's been sitting for a few days, but almost always starts on the first crank when she's warm. If she doesn't, it's usually because I mis-judged just how warm she was, and flooded her by using the choke when I shouldn'ta. Has this problem developed recently, or has it always been that way? If it's always started hard when warm, then the usual tune-up considerations apply: Magneto timing Point Gap Float Height Carb Adjustments Plugs I've been lucky, my Champions haven't developed a fouling problem (yet), but lots and lots of folks on this board have dumped Champs in favor of Autolites, and been very pleased with the results. A range or two hotter than original recommended heat range is not a bad idea either, as we don't use the old girls long enough and hard enough to keep the plugs burned clean, plus today's lower octane gas is not as easily combustible as it once was, or at least so I hear...
