Hey Guys,

I have a McCormick No. 2 Subsoiler with one shank. I have a few things I need to replace and need to know as well how they are put together. I am having trouble finding any info on it except for this one picture I have included here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ih subsoilers must be a rare breed. i have one that is larger and heavier than the one in your picture. the tag says k s subsoiler and the serial number is p 1 it was built at the stockton works in california. it will go in the ground about three feet and it has a cast iron "worm" that hooks up behind the point. it will stand the front end of the 1466 up in the air in clay ground it must have been built to be pulled by a crawler.

You should be able to get a manual photocopied from the Wisconsin Historical Society.
