What series engine did the W-40 6cyl use. Green Diamond ? Red Diamond? Black Diamond. Were they gas and kerosene?

They were basically an early version of the red diamond as the later red diamond will bolt right in. They were made in gas or kerosene

The 40 series used a 6 cylinder similar to there truck engines. The displacement was 298 cubic inches. A person can put a Red Diamond in the tractor but when they are finished they don't have a orginal W40, they have a tractor with a different engine. Try to keep these old gals like they were because they were the tractor of that period
