My 1960 Loboy ran fine a couple of years ago, now it needs the carburator "misted" with gas to start and keep running, I have rebuilt the carb about 4 times, no luck, still need to be "misted" with gas to run, I think it may be an intake leak, any ideas? Also I lost the name and phone number of a business (small engine repair?) around Worcestor, Mass, (Vilage power equipment?) which specialized in Cubs, Anyone know of smoething which sounds familiar? I want to trailer it to them for help...Thanks.....Andy...

Andy, take your propane torch( don't light it), open it up so you know there is propane coming out the nozzle and go around the carb with it as the cub is running..if it smooths out you know you have an intake leak. I would check other sources as well. Is gas flowing freely through the line to the carb? It sounds like the carb hasn't got any fuel to feed the engine..two things, fuel isn't getting to the carb or the carb isn't delivering and that will rule out an intake leak..good luck Andy from Mike in Exeter Ontario
