Punch below for pix from the Hamlin NY show this weekend. Show features primarily IHC equipment (50+ restored McCormick, Farmall and IHC tractors). Also 20 or so Deere, Case and several "orphan" tractors are on display. Plenty of restored implements, tools, old engines, etc.

Show runs thru Sunday Aug 25. Location is 2 miles north of Hamlin NY on Lake Rd East Fork (NY 19). Admission and parking are free.

I go to this show every year as its only a few miles from my house. Its nice to see so many old tractors with out having to pay to see them or put up with acres of flea markets. It also great to see the owner looking like a kid in a candy store.

As always Bob a great bunch of photos. I think if one were to put all those walking plows to work today at a show there would be a lot of sore hips, arms and shoulders.

Was at a show last year in Nova Scotia. Young fellow had his families old IH steel thresher, I think same as the one in photo. He was telling me his uncle George bound some grain in 1967 and belted thresher up to at time new 656D, sheaves were short and in excellent condition. They were able to pull up two wagons, one on each side and 4 men pitching sheaves in.
