I just bought a H-110 checkrow planter for $20. It is a rear mounted model that is made for H's. It's all there I think, it needs to be put back together. I will pick it up tommorrow. I don't have a Farmall H but I do plan to restore this planter. The guy was going to send it to the scrapyard if he didn't sell it. Are these planters very collectable or hard to find?

Never seen one, so I would imagine they are collectable. I think that tractors look WAY better if they have something with them once they are restored, even if it is a cultivator, etc. planters are kind of odd so yours would be neat to have. I know why you bought it. To convince the boss to let you get another tractor!

The problem Alan with saving stuff from the junk yard is sometimes your place ends up looking similair to a junk yard with all the stuff waiting to be restored. At least that's what my wife tells me.

I ceretainly agree with FM. Stuff with/behind restored tractors make them a lot more interesting to me than just another paint job. Dick
