Does anyone know anything about these tractors? HP rating, parts avalability (British or not?), size (I think they are small)?

I found one for sale but it has a knock. The owner says it is a bad rod bearing, but like anything else, it is probably worse than it sounds.

Any idea what the market value of a 275 diesel is? Thanks...BB

Hey Bama Binder, thats interesting..I just picked up a B250..they are almost identical but the B275 is tweeked up a bit, just a tad bigger in size. I just found out on the forum here last night that the B250's were only marketed through I-H dealers in Canada while the B275's were sold both in the US and Canada. I am amazed at my local Case-I_H dealer who seems to be able to get me parts for my H's and M without any delay...tonight after work I stopped in and they had an oil filter and a fuel filter for the B250..I think there were a lot of the 250 and 275's sold and I would think parts are available.A good running little diesel ought to be worth what a good H or M would bring but I look for bargains..had my eye on this tractor for a few weeks and when the owner's brother in law asked me to come back and get it running I couldn't resist...I offered $700 and they took it quick, only because some clown had offered $300 for it . They were satisfied and I got a bargain. I may need to do the injector pump but it may only be fuel filter..other than that it runs great, with loader ,like new rear tires and decent tin..good luck with it, get it for the right price and you can afford some repair..Mike in Exeter Ontario

Michael...you did that without a gun or knife? I say you got a good deal. This guy has been trying to unload this 275 for a while and he is down to $1000 and fall is upon us when no one seems to buy and anyone who has a junker with problems wants to unload.

I'm not sure what the right price is on this one, I may try waiving 5 $100s under his nose, but no more I think. The size and features of a 275 seem to be much better than an 8N that everybody wants $2500 and up for around here...but small utility's go for much higher than Hs and Ms.

Hello BB, ---- 3 / Sept. / 2002 ----

The International B-275 SERIES was made in Britian.

1. B-275(D) was made from 1958 to 1968. Motor; #144(D) 4 Cylinders / 38 H.P.

2. B-275 Petrol was made from 1961 to 1963.

The other item you should have tossed in there Milton, was 275 has live pto by use of two stage clutch. Put that little diesel on a baler and it will walk all over a Farmall H
