I have a 1967 F706 (german diesel) When I raise the 3-point lever it does not stay in position. It creeps down slowly. It looks to me like there is an adjustment to tighten up the lever so it stays in one spot but I don't want to bust something. Does anyone know how to fix that problem? Any help would be great.

There is two nuts on the rod and also a spring that put force against the friction washer you can adjust them from the bottom side and it does help if you modify a 3/4 wrench it will take some grinding around the head and also on the handel of the wrench so it will clear the housing this only has to be done to one wrench as two 3/4 wrenches are needed for this job . Just put enough tenchion on it for it to have enough drag to stay put , some times it is nessasary to replace the disc DO NOT OIL anything other then the threads on the shaft .
