Noise in rear end of H and M

On both my tractors I hear and feel a significant "clank" when I am in any gear but most in 2nd and 3rd. With each rotation of the rear wheel it will clank 7 times

I think another thing to check for is a worn-out
imput shaft bearing. It comes into the front of the transmission housing it acts like a clutch pilot bearing . The main transmission shaft fits into it and it has a snap ring too,if its worn when in 2nd
gear the sliding gear will ting (or hit ) against the
gears on the second shaft the noise is worrysome. To get at it the platform must be removed so not an easy one hour job.

You've got a chipped or broken tooth on one of the bullgear drive pinions.
