A while back i remember reading an article on a muffler for Farmall C. I can not find the article in archives if anyone can help. I am looking a muffler that is an original and provides the original sound for the Farmall "C". I know you can get other products but one person said he had this orginal muffler coming in some time later and i need to get in touch with him or any information on where to get one if anyone can help. Thanx in advance; boochie

Will the new ones using the original blueprints have the IH stamp and part numbers on them?

Chinese fortune cookie say "Cheap mufflers are of no value, original mufflers are not cheap!". The ones we are having made are built from the old IH blueprints. They have the small exhaust pipe outlet unlike anyone elses. The internal construction is a duplicate with the same number of baffles, holes, ect. This gives the Farmall "sound" that everyone is craving.

Ken, do you also have this original type muffler for the "H"? Could you give a rough idea of cost? Thank you for your info...

Could you give us any hint as to pricing on these yet? I'll probably have to have one for my C as I too remember it with the nice sound of the original type muffler, and the "cheapie" on it now is looking a little worse for wear. As a kid I remember dad removing the muffler during the winter to prolong its life as it was used very little in the winter months and it had to sit outside.

I expect these mufflers (H-M & A-B-C) to cost about $ 95 each. They are hand made by skilled people in the USA.
