I have a SMTA with swinging draw bar. This bar has a left bend in it. I'd guess about two inches. I"m almost sure it was made that way, but why? (this a side bend Info?? Thanks

I have a drawbar for a SMTA if you would like it. We can discuss a price if you are interested. I have a Super M and this was sold at my neighbor's auction. Otherwise, without looking at it, I don't know about the bend you are talking about. It should be straight as an arrow if you are looking down on the bar as if it would be on the tractor. Make sure you are looking at it as if it would be installed on the tractor, not sideways as a loose part (I'm not taking you for stupid, but smart people do make stupid mistakes, no hard feelings.) Good luck.

I doubt if it was made that way. Someone hooked unto something unusual and it bound up on a turn. I had a trailer hooked to 300, didn't pivot properly at draw bar pin, got a bend. Lot of presure there .
