I am looking for a wiring diagram for an "H". My vr is located on the rear gas tank support. Also can someone tell me what year an H with the serial number of 183,000 would be? Thanks for you assistance.

Your H was produced during 1944, which included serial numbers 15051 - 186122.

There were many wiring diagrams for the H, apparently many different versions were made for both the 6 and 12 volt systems. A good site for any information about H's is below. You will probably have to get the service manual to assist you with your project. The manual has the correct wiring diagrams with vr located on rear fuel tank support.

Link to possible wiring diagrams for your H. See WR9 post on about page 4 or 5. Steve gave me the info.

Since no one with more diagrams has responded yet, I have a diagram from Bob M. that I used to convert an H to 12 volts. If it would be of any help, send me your email address and I'll forward it.....

I believe that serial number would be a 1944, according to Guy Fay's data book. I also have a 1944 H. .....
