Where can I get a 12v regulator for my H?

I have a generator that has been rewound for 12v system. Now I need to replace the 6v regulator with 12V one. Can my Case-IH dealer get one that fits on the generator? My parts guy can only find the 6v one.

go to auto zone and tell them you have a 1960 chevy C-10. I got a WELLS for $20.

I picked one up at a starter and generator repair shop.I.H. dealers also have them.

Are you sure you want a volage regulator? My H has a voltage cutout which is different in that if you want to put it back to original,your light switch has a High Low position for amount of charge tou want--just depends what you want, a regulator will do away with that feature of the past. Just thought youd like to know
