I have a 1066 International tractor with a cab. The orignal centerlink was missing and the thing that holds it up when not in use. I have put a case 1490 centerlink or top link on it because I all my equipment is catoragory 2. I need a idea to hold the center link up when not in use.

Thanks for your help

I would think that a nice piece of no.9 fence wire would do quite suitably. No.9 wire is very technologically advanced, almost better than even duct tape at times. By hooking one end to something solid, and quickly wrapping the other end around the top link, you would have the job done in a few seconds. (pardon my sarcasm, I couldn't help myself) Also I think that one of those rubber bungees would work quite well if done up right. I am talking about the nice, strong, black rubber kind, not that wimpy nylon rope looking junk.
