I just got my Christmas present, a 1942 W-4. The owner had rebuilt the starter and replaced plugs.
Tractor wouldn't start and the NUT(owner) decided
to sell it. He sold it with a bush hog for $250.
I was lucky I guess. How many 1942 W-4's were
made. Was this a fair price? I hope I did not
pay to much!!! Great metal

I'll double your money and you can keep the bushog:-) The only thing that could make this deal better is if the thing was out of gas and that was why it wouldn't start.

If you're feeling guilty, I'll just give you 300 bucks and take it "off your hands." Hee, hee, hee!

WOW!!! Congradulations on the new toy. Didn't pay too much? The guy could be declared "Temporarily Challenged" :-)
You got almost the deal of the century (only better deal would have been free). Great little tractors those -4's, but I admit to being prejudiced. Dave
