It may be that some how the hydraulic hoses got switched. Some 460's had fast hitch hydraulic hoses that used quick couplers beside where the head light pipes atttached to the tractor. It sounds stupid, but think the loader lines and the fast hitch lines are crossed.

If you feel pressure on hydralic lines to fast hitch cylinder but the hitch won't raise there is a good chance that there is a mechanical problem in the hitch itself. Check to see if there are any bolts or pins working out and locking up the hitch.

If it has the 2 or 3 lever set-up, the right hand lever should raise the hitch, the middle lever is for rear remote, and left lever is for front remote.

If the TA is out it will take both time and money or more money if you hire someone else. Not sure on the lift problem. Do a search on this board for TA. A lot of information there.
