I was wondwering what a 53 super h would be worth, sheetmetal is very straight,it is a stage 1,wheels on rear are great, needs rear tires and paint,it has under the hood power steering(char-lyn),motor has not been rebuilt, but compression is great, and trans is very quiet, and it has the original lights.

I bought a 53 SH in Central Kansas last summer. New rear tires, good paint in great shape. No power steering. $925

I don't know how much this will help...location has a lot to do with it. I bought a stage 2 Super H with factory wide front and a 3 point hitch.2 years ago. Paid $950 and put several hundred more in it. Tires are decent, engine not rebuilt but compression is 125 across the board. Still a lot more I want to do to it. I bought it in Alabama and realize tractors like this are cheaper in the mid west and in other areas, but when you factor in shipping, I can afford to make more repairs. I would say yours would be in the $1200 range mostly because new tires will be over $500. Just my guess.

I have the tractor for sale and I have a 52 super m that has been completly rebuilt from top to bottom,I guess what I'm getting at is would I be stupid for selling the super h,instead of the super m,I also have a regular h that my father bought new so I figured I would sell the super tomake room in the garage,I just don't what to make the wrong deciction, not that I have to sell the tractor but all the others I own were ones that my father had and I can't sell those, and I need the room in my garage for other projects

I would say with that powersteering that it is worth about $1600-$2000. assuming it runs well. Condition is the determining factor.

Brad - 3 years ago I gave $1,100 for a '53 Stage 1 pretty much like yours. Didn't have power steering and the original lights had been replaced, but it did have decent (50%) rear tires. This was in upstate NY...
