Close relative recently bought Ford 4000 which is in good shape. Have about 20 acres of beans which custom out and two 140's. Would like to look into seeing what is availabe in the way of pull behind combine which could use behind 4000 to combine beans. Are some of these type models still out there? What are some good makes and models to look at? Also how are parts availability, and what is fair price range? And what's about most acreage one can handle with a pull behind? Thanks for the help. Appreciate your thoughts.

I don`t know where you are but we have a # 80 IH that we are no longer using;currently set up for soys (7 ft direct-cut) but does comes with pick-up and proper cylinder/concave for edibles .Your 4000 would be the right power range for this size of machine; should allow a couple of good days to harvest your crop with one of these.Good, reliable combine w/parts still available. Also have 2-row puller and INNES windrower for edibles if needed.Located in Southern Ontario (Canada)email if interested. Not sure of price.
