Fired up the Super M this weekend, hooked her to the trailer and headed for the woodlot to buzz up another load of old locust for the woodstove. As you can we have no shortage of snow here! (western NY) ...Bob M

Looking good! A few months ago I posted a question about my 400 farmall. Last year it wouldn't start below 50 degrees. Then it wouldn't start at any temperature. Overhauled the head, rebuilt the carb, new points condenser, plugs, wires, and cap. Bob M told me cam gear was probably broke. (It was!) Replaced cam and gear. A MAJOR job for 30 year old bean counter experiencing joys (and frustrations) of his first tractor. I went out Thursday morning to start my car to head for work. The temperature was -9. The fuel line froze up on the car. Started the wife's van (barely started) I thought, well here goes the test I have been waiting for. Went to the barn, turned the fuel on, hit the ignition, two revolutions and the old 400 was running like to was 80 degress outside! You talk about having a good feeling! At that point it felt like it had warmed up by twenty five degrees. Thanks to all that have helped overe the last year! God bless!

Looks like fun. We've got quite a bit of snow on the ground up here. The last 2 times I've run my Super A it's been a challenge just getting out of my shed (Something of an uphill slope on a dirt floor). When I do make it out I can't go very far before I get stuck so it looks as though I'll have to wait for spring. SAm in NS

you look like you are having to much fun. About 3 months ago I came in from running my H and my wife says, "oh you smell like the tractor" And I said I love it when you talk dirty to me honey.

VERY cold here in Minnesota it was -22 ACTUAL TEMPERATURE here for about 3 nights in a row. The windchill made it about -36 or so. And I am 15 miles north of Minneapolis. On the Canadian Border, lows were around -40! AND, there is only about 2" of snow here were I live!

With the weather you Easterners have been having, that looks like about a night's worth of wood!
