I am a 43 year old Swede from Minnesota's North Country. I grew up in the woods, trapping beaver, mink, coyote and fox. I hunt Deer every year, last year I shot an 8 pointer. Not big like the Texas deer's racks but certainly edible. I have a special love for Insects and I collect them, along with Savage Model 99 .300 Savage Rifles, and sights.

I have a B.S. degree from the U of M in the Twin Cites, MN. I have 9 Farmall H's in various degrees of repair and disrepair. I go to Alaska every Fall to fish for Steelhead on the Kenai Peninsula. I fish Steelhead anywhere I can find them.

I am restoring two Farmall H's from the War era. I know how to take them apart very well, and am learning as I go on the reassembly part.

During the day I am an AutoCAD drafting Techician, working in the Water/WasteWater Industry. We upgrade many systems in this area, most recently the Entire WLSSD system in Duluth and Alexandria's Lift Stations.

I have a girlfreind named Paula. She likes Farmall Cubs. I have not obtained one yet. I am growing to like them because they are smaller and easier to work on than H's.

I like Farmall H's because of my Dad. He brought one home one cold Winter and hooked a Buzz saw up to it. I spent lots of time looking at that blade spin. I still remember the whine in my ears. I wish every kid could experience the simple power that was and is the Farmall Series. I hope people are buzzsawing wood long after I am gone.

Scott

44 years old. Divorced, but planning to remarry sometime in 2003. Raised part time farming. Was an Allis guy for years but have fell for the Super series Farmalls the last 10 years or so. Spend too much time on the internet (darn E-bay). Was a truck Owner Operator for years, but deliver doors for a millwork company now. Own a 61 560 Diesel, 2 Super MTA's, 53 Super MD, Super C, M, H,Ford 8N & 9N and, last but not least, an Allis WC (Serial #309). Prefer to be home working in the shop or out in the yard to most anything else. Enjoy the he(( out of this sight.

I'm 47 yrs. young, I was born about 20yrs. late. I'm the Operations Supervisor for the City of Boulder's Wastewater Treatment Facility. I've loved the Red tractors since I was a kid. My father was a part time farmer, worked a full time job and also had one or two milk cows, chickens, horses and sheep. In my teens I couldn't wait to get away from my fathers rinky-dink farm operation quick enough. Joined the Air Force and spent 6 yrs. in California before I realize that I really missed that rinky-dink farm. I returned from California to Colorado and got involved with helping my father with his operation. He still lives on his small farm but is unable to do any of it, he's had 3 strokes in the last 4 yrs. which have him slowed down pretty much.
I, like my father did, now run a part time farm operation, on his farm, with some beef cattle. This gives my father great enjoyment watching and talking with me as I work on the equipment during the winter time repairs. At the prestent I'm replacing the torque amplifier in my SMTA. I use my Farmalls for putting up hay for my livestock and for family and friends. I have a 1953 Farmall Cub, a 1954 Farmall SMTA, a 1955 Farmall 200, a 1955 Farmall 300 and a 1956 Farmall 400. All of our hay equipment is New Holland, I even have my uncles first baler a 1948 NH 80 wire tie. Like I said I was born 20 yrs. to late but then I wouldn't have this computer to listen to all of the flip flap going on around the country or had found all the nice folks out there that I have met in my tractor journies. Take care all and say a prayer for the families the latest space shuttle tragety.

Grew up on the 5 acres I'm living on now. Went north and worked for dad for 9 yrs doing truck & trailer repair. Transport refrigeration was my specialty. Moved back home in 95 after family feud and lost my a$$ on a resturant in small town 6 mi. away, after 3 yrs of that, went self employed pulling wrenches on anything that will fit in/ get close to the 5 bay ancient truck shed(doors are 9'6w 11'4h) ever since. Own 44MH and love working on the older tractors of any color. Found this site about 2 months ago and really like it and the people on it. I take this opportunity to thank all of ya for puttin up with me. Fred

Own a 59 460G and a 41 M. Grew up on a farm in SE Nebraska (which my wife and I were lucky enough to be able to buy). Dad worked for the local IHC dealer for 30 years, so I have RED blood. Just turned 41 on 22 Jan 03. Spent 8 years in the USMC and run a window repair/service/replacement business.

The schools of this nation could use many more guy willing to teach elem ed- my wife teaches the same, but what so many students need is the male presence in their lives. Too many dads are missing. Best of luck-

Thank you! I know that male presence is lacking in the elementary school. Male/Female ratio in high school is close to 50/50 but closer to 10/90 in elementary. There are quite a few guys in the program at my college - slowly things will change...
