I have a farmall f-12 1930's. I can't get any oil to the rocker arm to lubricate the top end.I have pulled the rockers off, blew air down the hole, taken the base off checked the pump for busted lines or gaskets, no gaskets down there. I turned the pump in a pan of oil and it pumps oil. The gauge goes up when I start the motor.Anybody have this problem and have you solved the problem?????
Thanks for any help in this matter.
Bruce

I checked in my shop manual for F-series. The only thing I found is; yes it is pressure lubed and the oil comes up into the rockers. Not much else. Maybe the round pipe of the rocker has a hole in it and it must line up with the oil line coming up from the oil pump. My Case VAS manual states that when re-assembling the rocker arms make sure to line up the oil holes. Check your F-12, it might be the same way.

Bruce, Im not sure on the F12, but on the F20 you have to oil the rockers by hand. on top of the valve cover, there is 2 oil caps, raise them up and with an oil can put several squirts of oil in them. there is a small trough on top of the rockers with felt strips that soak drips the oil onto the rockers. oil 2-3 times a day if using it in the field. hope this helps.
