All of the wiring on my Farmall C is original and in bad shape. When I began to order all new wires I see that there are 1) a main harness, 2) an ignition / light harness and 3) a rear light harness. Is this correct? So, will three harnesses do it? If not what are your experiences with ordering the wires for a Farmall C? Thanks

Yes, three harnesses should be sufficient for your C. I ordered likewise for my Super A; mine came fron Carter and Gruenewald.

Andy, That should do it! I've never ordered any harnesses because I like to make my own using the correct guage wire/terminal ends for each circuit and bundling them in asphalt coated wire loom that I buy at NAPA. Looks original and always the correct length.//FB

Farmer Bob, You are the one that got me to thinking about building my own wiring harness for my H. I went to NAPA and got the asphalt coated loom and the different guage wires and built my own in an afternoon. It worked great and for the price of one complete pre-made wiring harness, I got enough stuff to do both my tractors with a little bit left over. I want to thank you for the suggestion. Larry
