I have recently acquired a real nice set of round spoke F&H 6x36" wheels with the number HC26 cast on the hub. I was told that these may fit an F-20, is that correct? What else might they fit? Do these bolt directly onto the tractor axle or do they need separate bolt-in hubs? Thanks for answering my newbie questions.

Not up on wheel casting numbers myself, but sounds real likely that they are F-20 wheel's. F-20's had a hubbed axle that required a bolt on (not clamp on) wheel. They were 6 bolt I believe, and 36" was the most common size for a rubber tired F-20. The F-20 and Regular would interchange wheel's but were probably a little different in style from factory. The smaller F series tractors and most, if not all of the letter series had clamp on wheel's. The F-30 likely had a wider and or taller wheel that would of been somewhat different than the F-20 in some way or another. Unlikely for the F-20 and F-30 to have the same wheel but don't know that for an absolute fact. If your wheel fits an F-20, it will fit a regular as well, but I don't think rubber was an option for the regular from factory. Wheel will bolt right to the axle and won't need bolt in hubs since that is part of the axle.

IF THEY ARE F-20 WHEELS, AND YOU TAKE THE LUGS OFF THEY WILL BOLT RIGH ON SOME AR JOHN DEERES, ALL WC ALLIS CHALMERS, ALL RC ALLIS CHALMERS. ONE IS SIMPLY TURNED AROUND OR INSIDE OUT--IF THEY ARE RED YOU CAN PAINT THEM YELLOW FOR THE DEERES. YOU CAN MAKE THE PRICE GO UP UP UP. I THINK THE F & H STANDS FOR FRICK AND HARLEY, THEY MADE LOTS OF WEIGHTS, WHEELS ETC. IF I REMEMBER CORECTLY.
