They'll start without much problem in sub zero weather as long as you use an engine heater. It helps if shedded as well as plugged in.

Used 1 for years on my loader. Needed it to feed cattle and it always started with glow plugs and heater. This is in S.D. Where it gets way down below 0.

Have a 560D and because of its use, I only start it every couple of weeks. In winter weather though, at least down to 10 degrees, I've never had trouble starting it. Below 10 degrees, I'm fortunate to not have to be out in the weather myself. It has the built in heater and all the glow plugs work. It starts a lot easier than my Ford Jubilee at this temperature.
It has really been a good solid tractor---I have a DuAl 325 Loader on it.

I have the privilage of owning two 560's the first was a diesel the 282, we never had much trouble with it. This tractor was mint it had the factory wide front very good paint, good tires, ran very good and had a set of 3-14 fast hitch plows. I sold this tractor in the late 80's and got 4200.00 dollars for it. In 1995 I bought a 560 gas I paid 3200.00 dollars for it had good tires, paint, factory wide front, new clutch and ran good. So here's an idea of what I sold and bought mine for.
