Does anybody know the official shade of gray used on the 10-20s? Mine is a 1924. I've seen everything from very light gray to battleship gray to a mostly blue gray.

Bill, the color is Centuri 27625 as Tom said.If you go to UAP or NAPA automotive they can cross the numbers for you.On mt gallon can it reads [27625A Charcoal], in Canada the gallon cost me $150.00 all premixed with hardener and lacquer blend . I had it painted with 3 coats and it took just under three quarts.I got two 10-20's one is a 1931 the other is a 1937 which is [HI RED].They changed the colors of everything in nov,1 1936. Good Luck.WILL

Bill,
I have a 1926 15-30, underneath the tractor and pressed between two pieces of sheet metal I found a dark grey. I used Dupont Centauri 27625. it matched perfectly. I have seen others painted a lighter shade.

I agree with Bill every McDeering and farmall are the dark gray they look real good the lighter looks faded and does not do the tractor any justice
