My hydraulic oil sits under case where the seat is located. The fill/level pipe is in the rear right corner of the case as you sit in the seat. Can anyone tell me where the drain for it is?

Thanks

I have a 424, the hydralic is seperate from the trans. The Hydralic holds about 3 gallons. the drain is a plug, which is located under the seat if looking from the rear of the tractor, you will see a plug right above the seam of the upper case and the lower. seems confusing until you look at it.

Bluelight, Rod is correct according to my I-T manual. On the right side of the trans case about where your leg would rest is the hydraulic line and there is a connection there. That connection is also the drain for the system. When you take the hose clamp off and pull the two lines apart there should be an in line screen that pulls out as well. This should be cleaned when you are doing it. I-T manual is for B275,B414, 424,2424, and 3414's. What I find interesting is they don't list B250. I have a B250 and that's what I bought it( the manual) for. TSC stores carry a lot of these I-T manuals. Good luck and keep us posted ...Mike in EXtere Ontario

Mike, is that the line that goes to the Hyd pump up front?

It seems that the case is made up of a lower
and upper level. The upper (under the seat) is
where the hydraulic oil is, and below that the transmission housing seperating the hydraulic oil above by a casting wall.

Darn, wish that manual was in !!!

Thanks.

hey I have a b 275 ops manual with a description and picture of draining of the oil from the suction pipe if you send me your email I will scan it and send it to you I think the B 275 and 424 are very similar machines.
