Does anyone out there know where I can get a used, rebuilt or new starter for a 1963 3414 international tractor? The starter is a Lucas SN 25670A

Thanks Bob D

Bob,
Hey. I have a 3414 too. Got mine fixed at the starter shop (starter and generator) for less than $100. Lucas starters and generators are pretty common I guess. Curious though, how do you know your tractor is a '63. My serial number is 5331 w. Do you know some of some serial number information. Where are you located? I know of several Mahindra dealers in NC.

Bob what exactly is wrong with your starter? Starters can be rewound, have new bushings installed, new brushes and contacts and new bendix gears. Most reliable repair shops that do starters alternators and generators could rebuild your starter, if its just bushings and bendix you could do it yourself..post us about your starter...Mike in Exeter Ontario
