It was reported on this mornings AG radio program from WIBW, Topeka, Ks. that Case IH was going to bring out a line of tractors using the FARMALL name. Not much more info than that, just talk about the name and the history of the FARMALL.

Does anyone know anything about this????? ??

They are sub compact like little kubota's around 18-28hp range. I don't know if you call them tractors or lawnmowers. These are the pictures I saw so far. Sounds like a war with the new McCormicks just for the famous name.

They are just using the name and paint. They will just be another east asian import pretending to be an american tractor. You will see some tractor made by "Dung Fu Industries" proudly wearing the red and white with a big "M" on the cowling. I don't mind the imports especially ones like Kubota that make their own name and reputation. I really get tired of seeing US companies trying to "borrow" respectability by slapping their name on an import and touting it as their own.

Larry: Don't have too, I read this am they were Oriental manufacture. It will be just another piece of junk. Anyone who could take the name Farmall and paste it on something like that doesn't have a lot of scrouples.

Heh, It never left. It is sitting out in my shop, 46 years old and still ready to run whenever I need it. It is sitting in the ditches, waiting to be found and restored, to run again as it was made to. It is in countless barns, yards, fields, and garages. Like the values and hardwork that once characterized this country, they are mostly tired and rusted, but still more than able to do the job. And with a little polish can take one back 50+ years ago when this country was a different place. Sad...a sticker cannot replace that.
