I am thinking about buying a 806 diesel that just has a drawbar on the back and I would want to convert it to 3 point or fast hitch. Is it possible and is it a big job and will it affect the loader operation that it already has? Thank You for any help you can give.

I would advise you to go to junk yard and get enough used parts, no one makes a after market hitch, parts from any 06-56 2 point or 3 point will fit, (cat II only). Its not a easy job as you will have to add the hydraulics and rockershaft in the upper cover on the rear frame.

you could buy a parts tractor with a fubar motor and transfer all it's hitch components to the good one. or make a deal/trade with a puller. they dont need the 3pt or other hydraulics.

you should almost be able to swap the top cover/lift cylinder assembly between the tractors with out much difficulty. there's some details you'd have to work out, but the physical parts are probably interchangable. just take a close look at other tractors of the same model and comparre.

I think I would check out price of a hitch at scrapyard. I am betting it will be cheaper to look for tractor with the hitch. With a tractor that modern you don't want an add on, go for factory hitch with draft controll.
