I believe the kerosene burning option was pretty much available for perhaps the entire production. Was probably more common on the earlier models. There was also gas burners and distillate burners. Not sure if kero and distilate option was the same or different as far as head and carb. The kero option on your tractor probably doesn't add to much additional value. Functional factory radiator shutters and functional heat adjustment manifolds however are getting hard to find. If yours are factory and still work, they might add a little value but not a hole lot. I have a 1943 kero burner H with new tires, 10 year old paint (always shedded), good mechanical condition, original style electrical system, fairly complete except shutters, and all options except fenders. I consider it worth in the $1000 to $1200 range. That is truely in the ball park range for value in my area. Maybe Farmall Daddy is in a way more valueable area than myself, but his quote seems pretty high to me. I don't see that one in real cherry condition being worth much more than $1500. And if so, it better be extensively overhauled, brand new tires, and new paint, have all factory options including fenders, and a flawless restoration. Sure, you can spend that much or perhaps more fixing it up, but would be real unlikely to get your invested money back out of it. The more you spend, the less money you are probably going to see back when restoring to sell an old H. Just my 2 cents worth.
