Has anyone ever heard of a tractor tire with the name "AKURET" on it? I'm going to a sale early in the morning that has these tires in the size I need, but I have never heard of such a tire. Does any one know who makes it and are they any good? Thanks!!

Where was this sale at? I saw a pair bring big bucks (my opinion) the other day west of So. Bend, IN. Mounted on 9 bolt rims. Seemed to look like imported tires to me.

The sale was 12 miles east of Kankakee, Illinois. A brand new pair of 13.6x38 went for $410. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much knowing where they were made.

These were 18.4-38's on 9 bolt dual rims. New tires & tubes brought about $750. Way too much! Don't think thoses tires cost that new.
I bought a set of older Goodyear Traction Torque's 18.4-38 on 9 bolt IH rims at Mowery's Auction Milford, ILL last spring for $150. Still had about 40% tread, rims were worth what I paid for them. If you need new tires, here's the guy I deal with: Leroy VanDusen (574) 298-5402 is his cell ph. no.. He travels all around Indiana, So. MI, E. IL & W. OH. Works out of South Bend, IN. He's the best apples for apples on tires I can get around here. AG
