My Cub doesnt have them.I have found a complete setup ready to bolt on,all I have to do is take the stuff off of a junker.I am considering buying the whole tractor,,missing alot but enigne is there, but froze and the tranny appears to be in good shape. No hood or grill and the whole front susupension is gone.No tires on the back.Guy said make him an offer on the hydraulics and he would let me have the rest of the tractor for 50 bucks. So what should I offer him for the hydraulics and is there anyway I can check them before I buy it.Thanks alot!

Go for it. Sounds like a good deal.

I had a parts tractor for my massey, never regreted it. Didn't have a froze engine, but was burnin in 2 cylinders, rest was OK. Kept the cylinder well oiled and turned it over every once and a while.

To unfreeze engine, fill cylinder with kerosene, braze a grease nipple on an old spark plug. Screw in the plug and start pumping grease in. Hand pump will develop a ton of pressure + -. Magnified proportionally with the surface area of the piston, the piston's bound to move.

Has it been sitting outside? How does the Hy-tran in the hydraulics look? I would offer $150 for the hydraulics, so $200 for the whole thing. See if he bites. Who knows, maybe you can free up the motor and get it running.
