been some time since I've been to this board, been working on the house....Came across an H and 350 diesel sitting behind a barn locally. talked to owner briefly and told me they haven't run in years. but the water was drained out of them when they were parked. not sure of tire condition on either one. was told they were parked there and just not used any longer. was also told that the 350D is missing a tooth in 4th gear. any ideas what are they worth? or a starting point at which to start the price at? thanks, brian

I would like to know if a cub high crop complete would be worth purshasing and restoring? It is about a 1951 model with hydralicks and it's all complete. What would be a be good purchase price for this tractor and about how much would it be worth after restored? thanks

Hi Donald, A 1951 Cub $820 fair $1410 good & $1810 premium less repairs. If it has hydraulics you will want to figure in a little more $150-$250 depending on how well it works, because you just may have to spend $500 plus if it does'nt work the way it should. It sure would be a nice project to rebuild, but remember parts are very expensive for new. Try it out make sure it runs good, the hydraulics work, check the tires and the rims real close. Hope this helps! Bob

Hello REA,

Could you tell me what Book you are referring to and where I can get a copy. Does it cover older and different color tractors?

Thanks,

Dave Olson - East-Central Illinois

If the H has useable rubber, complete, engine free (but likely not runnable the way it sits), it would likely not take to much to get it going if it ran good when parked, would be worth in the $400 to $500 dollar range. Good tires would add value to that figure, but totally shot tires and or froze engine would lower that figure. The 350 D I am not sure about. I would guess more if a simular senerio as described for the H, but how much more I don't know.

S.E. Michigan, Owner told me he would get back to me sooner or later. I told him no big hurry as I still have plenty of other projects to finish....
