I am looking for an international d188 engine. It is for a 3514 backhoe loader. Any help would be appreciated. Please email back, thanks.

I have that as well, but wouldn't I have to change out the transmission as well?? And would a 239 be easier to find?? Thanks for your help.

That will probably fall in same catagory as hens teeth. I think it had some industrial use. The only farm tractor I can think of is 504. A 239 may fit and be easier to find.

Does anyone know if a CASE D-188 would fit in a 3514 International Loader/Backhoe. I have found several of those but I cannot locate an original International D-188. Any help would be appreciated.

The IH 188 and Case 188 engines come a time before the merger. I had a Case Skid loader that had the gas engine and diesel for that model was the 188. I also had at same time a Farmall 300. From having the two of them servicing them etc. Those engines have to be awfully close. If someone told me they would interchange I wouldn't be argueing with him. If I were you I would look awfully close at that one.
