I'm about to go crazy working on a zenith carb. I've had it off and apart 3 times. It was dirty and I cleaned it. It ran great but leaked out of the weep hole. The spring was off the needle valve so I fixed that. Then it started to splutter so I took off the tank and cleaned all the fuel system real good and took the carb off again and re-cleaned it. This morning it is leaking again. Is there something I'm missing or do I just need to replace the valve and seat? I haven't adjusted the float because it didn't leak before I cleaned it. Any ideas? Thanks Al

The most popular one is a 52499D which takes a C509V but their are 3 others it could be . Some kits cover a couple of different carbs but I want to make sure you get the right one. There should be a brass tag or a casting number on it somewhere. Keep me posted Tim K.

If you have never replaced the needle and seat that is a good place to start. Put in a good Viton one though they work very well.

I keep them in stock as I clean alot of carbs for people. I could mail you one or Napa has been doing a good job with older parts lately. I have kits or just the needle and seat. Let me know what you decide. A drippy carb is a real pain.. Tim K.

Tim,

Do you carry a good quality rebuilt kit for a zenith on a farmall 100. I have a leak problem also after having the dealer rebuild. He cobbled the job, so I'll just re-do it myself!

John, I'll need your carb numbers to match the right kit and the cost is between 20 and 30 dollars and is complete with new shafts {choke and throttle} and all the goodies along with a viton needle. Let me know. Other kits are available but not as complete. See Ya. Tim K.
