Does anyone know if I can get the original gas lever for h or m farmall? I want the saw tooth levers not the notched kind. There are times when the old style just worked better. thanks for your help.

46M, sometimes we think the toothed plate is too worn , when it is the lever that is the problem. I removed the lever, ran a bead of weld across the surface that contacts the inside of the plate and the lever now stays in the notch...just 50 or so years of wear....Mike in Exeter Ontario

There are some original type throttles up for auction on Ebay now. The one that expires in 4 hours has been bid up to $25.00.

You can get repro versions from OEM tractor parts -- and probably other places -- OEM is 1 800 283 2122
