I missed the Arnet disinformation, but was discusted with the likes of Arthur Kent on the Larry King show. I think Discovery Channel should do the same to Kent as was done to Arnet by his employer.

What did this guy Arnet say? I don't ever seem to get to sit down and keep up. The truth is I sort of feel guilty following this thing like a soapopera, as it seems to be reported, when there are brave young men and women risking their lives in a far away place for a real cause. If it's not too long to type, let me know what he said. Thanks -- Martin

This story from AP contains the gist of what he said. As far as I'm concerned, if he wanted to say that in the United States, in an interview with a U.S. news service, it would be unfriendly, but not criminal. But he was in Iraq on Iraqi TV. I think a fitting punishment would be to let it leak (to Saddam) that he has been passing intel to us, and that he was the one that provided us with evidence that Saddam was at the palace when it was bombed on the 19th. Let Saddam take care of our problem.

I'm just waiting for the Country to put a halt to all media reporting vis-a-vis embedded reporters. What a crock it has turned out to be and one has to wonder at what cost to US taxpayers. You have to wonder as well, what is wrong with this picture. They can hunt down and prosecute a "Deadbeat" Dad for back child support from a place on the opposite coast of this Nation. Yet, they can't seem to narrow down or confirm the whereabouts of a certain Leader who has to be somewhere. Just my 2pennies worth.

They need to tie Peter on a camel and have it run toward one of those check stations the Marines are manning. Try to save the camel!

I think good old Peter Arnet needs to be arested as soon as he sits foot back in this country.
I would like to smack him in the knee cap with a 10lb sledge for every one of our soldiers that die in this war.

I don't care for the spin the news stations are trying to put on the war. They report negative occurences as an indication on how the war is going, but they don't look at the bigger picture. I can see their guest military analysts getting frustrated with the negativity.

These weren't the usual negative comments. This was an attack on the U.S. government, worse than any I have ever heard from any U.S newscaster.

What else can you expect from a media that is mostly liberal left and still smarting from Bush getting elected. They will do anything to discredit him or they wont have a prayer in 04.

Watch OReilly on Fox , he tells it as it is.
