I just changed the fluid in my '49 H Lift-all and used Hy-tran so I would not be cross-contaminating fluids when I use the same implement on my H and 560 (which also has Hy-tran in it). Then, I just read somewhere that you should only use SAE 30 in the Lift-all. Anyone have any horror stories about using Hy-tran in place of SAE 30?

I have used Hy-Tran in liftalls for a few years now with no problems.

The only thing that will happen is you might have less pressure because the oil is thinner.

Brent,
I've also used HY-TRAN in the hydraulics of my M and 450 for years with no apparent problems.
