How big a job is seal replacement on the touch control unit on a C?

Any input would be helpful.

Only problem is you should take off the gas tank to make it easier to remove. It's heavy, particularly with the rockshaft attached. As long as its off, get a gasket and seal kit from Case-IH -- about $90.

Which seal or all of them? The one between the pump and the engine is not a very difficult job. Hope this helps. SAm in NS

The unit is leaking hydrolic fluid around the front dust boot area.

Not too hard to do. I took the unit off to make it easier. The spool will pull out and the o-ring can be replaced. I would not advise doing it with the unit bolted to the tractor although it could be done just easier when unit is standing on end and you have greater access to the two spools.
