Bought a 2-14 mounted plow for my C a couple weeks ago. Got it all on and went to plowing last weekend in a local plowing bee. In the past I have always pulled a 2-14 Little Genius. My C would pull it, but it did get a real workout. Most of the time I had to put it in first gear. With my new mounted plow, I was pulling in second no problem and sometimes third. My dad was pulling my Little Genius last weekend too with his Super C. He had to pull it in first most of the day. Now he really wants a fast hitch plow. What a difference it makes not having a trailer (rolling resistance) behind. Just wanted to share a little story and picture.

Brian,I don't know where you live but I have one of those plows. It come with my SA along with other eqiup..I used it once but fiqured it was more for a C then a SA.It looks as if it hasn't seen much work,to me it looks new {no ware on points]the points are still square at the tips.If your interested email me.I 'am not hard to deal with besides it's been in the shed ever since I owned it about 10 yrs except the one time I tried it. The plows for a C and an A are not the same and cannot be interchanged. Also there was not a two bottom ever built for any A. The only way an A would pull two bottoms would be a trail-type on wheels.

I am currently using a 2 bottom plow with the one point fast hitch on my Super A, and by the way it pulls it just fine.

all the A and SA s around here all have two bottoms . they dont fit the C s thou the toungues are shorter , hard to tell the difference unless they are sitting side by side but they wont interchange. the only single bottom for an a ive seen was a broken off 2 furrow i do think there was singles made for A s thou . I dont have my book here or i would check for sure.

I don't have figures in front of me, but I would be willing to bet there were a 100,000 single bottom plows built for A and SA tractors. Probably more than that if you count the two ways.
