The A22 is a mid mount mower while the A24 is a rear mount mower. I have a 6 ft A24 on my Super A that seems to work well. I have mowed with both the mid mount and the rear mount and the mid mount is nicer in that you can keep an eye on what your mowing while you watch where your going. You also will not have a neck pain when you done at the end of the day. The rear mount seems to be sturdier and can get into corners better.
Godo luck on finding one. It took me three months to find mine here in Washington. Paid $250 for it.
